It has been a busy week as the children and staff quickly got back to the full school routine.

RESUMPTION OF SPORT

We started full afternoon activities this week with swimming, athletics and tennis practice in full swing.

UPCOMING FIXTURES

Senior boys CBC Cricket Festival.

Colts cricket, Fillies and Senior Girls Tennis-Whitestone Primary school quadrangular

27-29 January

The bus will be back by 12 noon on Sunday 28 January. 

There will be extra tennis and cricket practice for our senior teams this Friday 1:30pm to 3:30pm and Saturday 9:00am to 11:00 am.

SCHOOL VALUES

PROPER SCHOOL CREST

Please note our proper school logo which will now be part of all our official documents and uniforms. Do not purchase uniforms or school items with the wrong school crest.

UNIFORM

The school blazer is part of our school uniform and all pupils from grade 1 to 7 are required to wear a blazer on Mondays and Fridays for our formal assemblies. Those coming in sports kit for class tennis on any of these days are supposed to put on their blazer with the sports kit.

SWIMMING COSTUMES

An official school swimming costume has been designed and will be available with our accredited uniform suppliers in a couple of weeks. Please be patient and avoid buying the wrong costume.

PRE SCHOOL TIMES

With effect from Monday 23 January 2023 the Pre School will close at 4:00 pm. Those who would still want to pick up their children at 12:30 pm are free to do so. More details will be shared by the department with regards to this arrangement.

PRIVATE MUSIC LESSONS

In line with the development of our cultural activities, we are pleased to announce that Mrs Emily, GRSM,LRAM,LTCL, will be joining our staff to teach piano/recorder/flute/violin/cello and theory of music on an individual private basis. More information will be given about this in a separate letter. May all interested parents please contact the school as soon as possible as place s are limited and lessons start on Friday 27 January.

Grade 1 ,Teddy Bear (ECD A) , NEW PARENTS ORIENTATION

There will be a grade 1 and Pre School, Teddy Bear class and new parents orientation from 5:15 pm.  No children please.
